Christ Mission to the World

We have been working with Bishop Garang Chan of CMW since February 2016, when we partnered to feed 300 orphan children at two village schools in Adoor and Beliek near Aweil, South Sudan. Bishop Garang’s work takes place primarily in the surrounding area of Aweil, which is the capital of Northern Bahr el Ghazal state.

It all started with the birth of a vision by Bishop Garang and his wife Tabitha in 2008. Their heart was to help improve the lives of the South Sudanese people to ease their suffering by giving them hope for a better future and to share the love of Jesus. 

 As of October 2023, our partnership has grown to provide meals at three schools, impacting more than 3,000 children, and the number of children served through our Nutrition Initiative continues to grow. Our partnership has also received assistance from other like-minded organizations to aid in this work like Water for South Sudan who provided a water well at one of our school locations, Kids for the Kingdom that provided funding for infrastructure at all three village schools, 200 Orphanages World Wide who has invested in capital improvements at Aweil Town where we plan to feed children in 2004, and World Food Program that provides food aid at Beliek Primary School. We have been blessed to have these other organizations join the effort at these four schools in South Sudan where we have served an estimated 1.8 million meals to some of the most destitute children in the world.

Fortune Learners’ Centre

We have been working with this school in the slum of Kayole in Nairobi, Kenya, since January 2020.   

FLC’s vision is to support orphans and vulnerable children from the slums of Nairobi and Kendu Bay area through education, economic empowerment, and HIV/AIDS awareness, with an emphasis on psychosocial support to vulnerable children and their caregivers.  

FLC was founded in 2013 by Charles Owino and ten peers from the slums of Soweto, who were previously working as teachers in various schools. Having witnessed how many schools deny vulnerable children who cannot afford tuition the right to continue studying, they made it their cause to better the lives of these bright, yet poor children; some of whom had to resort to begging or child prostitution for a living.

Through our partnership we are supporting 147 orphan children within our Nutrition Initiative who attend this school. Through this partnership we are able to provide both breakfast and lunch to these children who would most likely go without.

Bethel Church of Pakistan

We began our work with Pastor Saleem Raza in 2011, and continued to support an orphanage he oversees through April 2017.  Today we are working with Pastor Saleem as part of our Home-Based Care Initiative, supporting orphans and widows to maintain their households, and will continue to do so as long as the resources are available.

Bethel Church was established in the year of 1995 and was started in the town “Raiwind “ of Lahore district. It began as a church of Evangelical Christian believers, and has grown to serve widows, orphans, and the poor in the surrounding communities as a demonstration of the Gospel.  

Pastor Raza has had the opportunity to minister and train in the Netherlands, Singapore, Korea, and Malaysia. We look forward to seeing what God does with the Bethel Church ministry as Pastor Raza and his church community demonstrate the love of Christ in Pakistan to those in need.

Nayalife Community Church

We began working with Pastor Jeetendra Singh of NayaLife Community Church with a mission to India and Nepal in 2018.

NayaLife Community Church began in 2010 in a one-bedroom apartment in Aurora, Colorado, with Jeetendra Singh as Senior Pastor. They are a diverse congregation representing people from a variety of backgrounds, nations, and races with multicultural, multilingual worship each Sunday. NayaLife-Aurora now has over 250 members.

Pastor Jeetendra is a graduate of Central Bible College in India and has a heart for the people in the country of his origin. The objective of our partnership with Pastor Jeetendra and NayaLife is to encourage the local church in India and Asia as a whole, to walk out in obedience to the Great Commandment to “Love Your Neighbor as Yourself.” Of course, for us this focus is the orphaned child.

The church in Asia is vibrant and growing and we look forward to being an encouragement to our brothers and sisters on the greater Asia continent.

Zambia Messianic Fellowship

We first met Rabbi Alex Yalenga and his wife Fay in 2008 while visiting Lusaka the capital city of Zambia.  They share a heart for the orphaned child, and through their work many have been blessed.  

The Zambia Messianic Fellowship’s mission is to demonstrate the power of God to everyone, everyday, everywhere, and one way that they have accomplished this is by caring for children at the Jerome Fleischer Orphanage in Lusaka. There, they care for 17 orphaned children, and those at the Jerome Fleischer Day School, where 191 orphans and abandoned children find hope and a second chance in life.

We have had the opportunity to deploy teams on several occasions to serve at the Day School, and currently support orphan children who attend there. In 2018, we assisted with funding a portion of what was needed for new school facilities to be secured for the children, and in 2019 ZMF was successful in transitioning the Day School to their new location.

The presence of the Lord is with Rabbi Alex and his wife Fay as they serve the vulnerable children of Lusaka, Zambia.

Arising Christian Ministries - Nairobi, Kenya

We have worked with Apostle Benson Musyimi of Arising Christian Ministries since October 2021 when we partnered to support orphan children living in Kenya and have grown our partnership to provide scholarships in Ulutya Village, and nutritional support to children in Nairobi.

Apostle Benson was also part of our GO! Kenya team who launched our Church Mobilization effort in Mombasa and Nairobi in February 2022. In fact, we tested the Great Commandment Workshop strategy at his church in Lucky Summer Estate in August 2021 as we considered further roll-out of this concept in Kenya. We are thankful for his encouragement for our efforts in Kenya and look forward to deepening our relationship to serve more orphan children in Kenya in the years to come.

GO! Kenya

Our newest Initiative launch, Church Mobilization, is led by Minister Isaiah Kimani in Nairobi. He was instrumental for our launch in February 2022 and has facilitated subsequent events throughout Kenya.

Minister Isaiah has facilitated thirteen Great Commandment Workshops in Kenya and traveled to Zambia in August 2022 plan our launch there in October. He has worked with local area ministry leaders in an effort to deploy the Church to serve orphan children in their communities. He has been an encouragement to 1,000’s in the mission to serve orphan children in Africa and Asia.

With the experienced gained in Kenya over the last several years, Minister Isaiah is leading the way as we prepare to launch our Church Mobilization Initiative around the world.

Life Center Ethiopia

Life Center Ethiopia’s Relational Model enables them to equip orphans and widows as they provide for their families through business training, spiritual discipleship, and microloans.

Through our partnership we are providing food through our Nutrition Initiative for thirty orphan children in Sekota. Based on the needs in Ethiopia today, we hope to grow the scale of this relationship in years to come.

Today 4.5 million orphans remain in need, 85% of all people do not have access to health care, and one in ten women are widowed. Together, there is much we can do for the cause of Christ in Ethiopia!

World Outreach Team Action (WOTA)

WOTA is a servant missionary, mobilizing, equipping and sending agency serving the body of Christ in Zambia and Africa. WOTA enables local churches and fellowships to go and find their place of obedience in the service of Jesus Christ beyond their own comfort zone and capacity for effective service as Salt of the earth and Light of the world in their community.

WOTA works with GO! on two mission projects in Zambia.

One, as part of our Education Initiative we work with WOTA in the North-Western Province on the ICS / Child Care Plus Mission Project which allows for 100 orphan children to attend school.

Two, both Pastors Barry and Kyembe are leading our Church Mobilization efforts in Zambia. They have both been instrumental in facilitating four Great Commandment Workshops where we have commissioned 756 GO! Ambassadors to serve orphan children in their communities in Zambia. More than 2,200 children have been impacted by this effort in 2023.

GO! Asia

As part of our newest Initiative launch, Church Mobilization, we have launched a team in Asia to begin conducting Great Commandment Workshops.

This effort is led by Pastor Ajay, and he has been at the forefront of facilitating five Great Commandment Workshops in 2023 where we commissioned 346 GO! Ambassadors to serve orphan children in their communities.

Pastor Ajay believes that caring for the poor, and encouraging other believers to do the same, is part of discipleship. Especially in this part of the world, caring for others is a great demonstration of God’s love.

Pakistan Orphan Ministry

Pastors Romaish and Salomi lead Pakistan Orphan Ministry and are out feet on the ground to provision care through our Punjab Orphan Outreach Mission Project.

Throughout Punjab families are left destitute as they work off debt in brick factories. Many of the children that end up in these living situations are orphaned, and all are in need. We are working with these partners to feed children at these locations.

Beyond food, Pastors Romaish and Salomi work to build relationships with these communities to provide many other services beyond the provision of just food. God is moving through this effort as these children experience firsthand the love of the Father.

Global Orphan Relief Partners (GO!) 

We are so honored as hundreds of individuals and churches choose GO! to work with for the betterment of orphaned children. Since 2005, we have served thousands of children in DR Congo, Kenya, Myanmar, Mexico, Nepal, India, Pakistan, South Sudan, Uganda, & Zambia, and have deployed nearly 200 volunteers to Africa, Asia, and Latin America. 

This movement is only possible because of the faithfulness of our partners that serve with us in the field, and those who provide support for this work to continue. As of September 2023, we now serve 2,536 orphan children in our primary care initiatives. These children would go without families of their own, an education, or food needed for survival if not for our funding partners. In addition, through our newly launched Church Mobilization Initiative, 2,519 GO! Ambassadors served 11,324 orphan children in Africa and Asia.
